For this project I decided to go with duolingo go. If you are not familiar with this app let me introduce you to a few of the features they offer. To begin, according to the duolingo website duolingo’s mission statement states, “Everyone learns in different ways. For the first time in history, we can analyze how millions of people learn at once to create the most effective educational system possible and tailor it to each student. Our ultimate goal is to give everyone access to a private tutor experience through technology.” The app is uniquely personalized for you and it's designed to make learning new languages understandable and engaging. They use a motivational approach to education, including interactive lessons, exercises, and assessments, encouraging users to practice and keep their language skills daily.It offers around 40 online language courses and mobile apps for students of many ability levels.


Duolingo can help me personally with my coursework by improving my vocabulary and grammar comprehension in any language I want or need to learn. Its regular practice sessions allow for consistent progress in language learning outside traditional study methods. It can help my future career in the FBI because knowing multiple languages is essential for communication, intelligence gathering, and effective collaboration with international agencies. Duolingo's various uses of language options and practical, real-world scenarios can provide critical language skills that can improve the negotiation and interrogation processes, improving operational effectiveness which are all needed in order to be successful in that career path. 





Overall, I believe that duolingo is a great app to engage with and can further your education in a different form other than your traditional classroom environment.

In the book the author emphasizes the need for personal learning networks (PLNs) to drive professional growth and organizational change. She shows how online platforms and social media serve as tools for educators to connect, share ideas, and access resources, paving the way for innovative solutions.The connection I can make from chapter 6 for my future career is the tactics and the cooperative style of law enforcement for someone like me who wants to make my career as an FBI agent.
